Tuesday update

Here is our first Costoluto Fiorentino of the year. It looks tasty.

The Indigo Blue cherry tomatoes look good and are setting prolific fruit. The coloring is unusual and stunning. As these ripen, the dark purple fades a little.

Another Costoluto Fiorentino on the vine. This one should be ripe within a day or two.

This year's tomato production is prolific, more so than in prior years On this one branch, there are at least five good-sized fruits forming.

If we can get another crop of lettuce to sprout and survive in our summer heat, we have all the makings of delicious BLTs. Not pictured in this update: the chard is a bust this year. We used old seeds that just did not work out. The carrot patch got taken over by grass. We have ample kale. More lessons for next year. Always improving. Always.
