The seeds we started about two weeks ago are doing pretty well, especially the tomatoes. These will contribute to delicious BLTs, salads, and backyard snacking.
The brassicas (kale, collards, and romanesco) are a little leggy. Still figuring out the right mix of water and fertilizer for these plants.
At least we used an enriched growing media (as opposed to plain old coir). Very glad to see progress! It's fun to look over from my desk during meetings and see growing taking place. Maybe working from home has its perks...

Whoa! Those sure are leggy! Not enough light?
ReplyDeleteThey're in the sunniest room in the house with good southern exposure AND under a grow light. I may have had the lamp too far away to start. Alas...
