Outdoor plants are coming back to life

It's been soothing to go outside and see the progress outside. Crocuses are in bloom!

In back, left, the boxwood, note the stakes. We fenced the boxwoods off with burlap this year to help prevent winter burn. We successfully avoided a winter burn like they had in prior years. They look healthy vigorous for early April.

Spring is here, finally. Seeing new blooms, regeneration of favorite plants, and the greening of the lawn all help to lift our spirits, something we all need now.
