We're making good progress on the workshop in the basement. Our neighbor helped me move drywall into the basement. Good news: we can fit a 4x8 sheet of material through the door and down the steps. I was really worried we wouldn't be able to do that when we got started!
We put the lower sheets of drywall in first, then I spent the afternoon cutting and fitting the other pieces. There was a lot of fitting (a/k/a "trial and error") to get this done. I was feeling up to the challenge of mudding the walls too, so the first coat is on!
Not a very picture-filled update on this project, but here's where we stand as of this afternoon:
