Tomatoes: what's for dinner

We are reveling in tomato season. Cherry tomatoes of both orange and purple (?!!) varieties are always available now, and we are almost starting to have a few more tomatoes than we can quite manage ourselves...but we have not yet admitted defeat. This evening's approach to the bounty involved grilling thick-cut bacon and yellow peppers; slicing a gigantic, bulbous, beastly heirloom tomato; and lightly salting a few leaves of lettuce (thanks for the suggestion!) for dinner BLTPs: bacon, lettuce, tomato, and pepper sandwiches.

EAT ME! I'm delicious!!

This was definitely the right choice.
