Herb garden - now in progress

The temps are finally stable enough for me to feel comfortable putting the herb plants in the ground. I moved the chive plant from its pot, which was good enough for it to survive the Wisconsin winter, into the ground at long last. To it, I added English thyme, lemon balm, and tarragon. I'm considering all of these to be perennials as they should be able to survive the winter in hardiness zone 5b (http://planthardiness.ars.usda.gov/PHZMWeb/) and come back next year.
