So much of what we've done this spring has happened in short windows between fits of poor weather. Getting the front beds in shape has occupied parts of the last several weekends and we even had to do bits and pieces of stuff during the week because that's when the weather cooperated.
I was busy yesterday with a volunteer event, so Mr. H. was on his own to take advantage of the reasonable weather and finish up the front beds.
He finished laying landscaping cloth. We started during the week but ran out and didn't have time to proceed. Nor did we care to in the rain and the wind and the cold.
He topped it all with 20 bags of mulch.
And now we wait for things to grow!
