Today was a monumental day: all of the white-painted doors were finished and finally hung in the kitchen. After six weeks of slow progress on gluing, sanding, and painting, they're hung up.

After six months without doors, we learned (or rather, relearned) a few things:
- You sometimes have to open doors to look for pantry items.
- Putting away dishes takes a bit more planning and coordination. GAH! Opening doors to put away bowls? Who owns this place, Warren Buffet?
The end is in sight! Drawer fronts are next: they're painted and in the basement, waiting to come upstairs. A little bit of trim work to finish, plus the pull-out trash container are next.
Hooray!
Oh my GOSH!!! This looks so incredible, you two! I love that "color" white! The blue is so cool with those black & stainless appliances. Just amazing, you guys.
