Well, that was a lot of work. 26 doors plus drawer fronts!
After the start of the new year, I spent some quality time on some very cold days in the workshop to glue up the doors, then spent even more time making a pile of sawdust sanding them. We finally put all of the doors up to confirm my math was right. Good thing it was! No panicky "there's no way this will fit" conversations. After a little adjustment of the concealed hinges, we are VERY satisfied with the results. Here they are in their unpainted glory!

We noticed a few things immediately:
- After three months (or so) without doors, it's odd to not be able to glance over to check a cabinet. "Do we have sugar?" "OH NO I HAVE TO OPEN A DOOR! Yes, plenty of sugar!"
- Having more flat, hard surfaces makes the kitchen echo echo echo... (that was unexpected).
A little touch that adds a high-end feel are soft-close adapters for the cabinet doors. No more cabinet door slamming! (That's the little silver object with the black rubber tip below. Super easy to install!)

ssh...quiet!
Now, to do the same installation for the drawer fronts, do a little more sanding, and then get everything painted. The end is in sight, friends!
