Holiday time

It's cold. The ground is frozen and covered in snow. Outdoor projects are at a standstill. And so, we wait for spring. 

Mr. H. and I picked up some seeds at a garden store over the holiday. (I couldn't pass up something called Red Deer Tongue lettuce!) We'll be poring over the available offerings from Seed Savers Exchange in the coming weeks. Aside from planning and some routine snow removal, we don't have much to do outside these days.
