The front is most definitely taking shape. This evening, Ms. K spent some time tidying up the new bed she planted, repurposing the pile of Cream City bricks we moved to the back yard. More on that in a later post...
Our replanting of grass in the area where the oil tank used to be is starting to look good, though I imagine more watering will be needed. The patch was crumbly dry this evening.
In back, the wafting scent of peonies and lilac is wonderful. With the kitchen window opened, the sweetness of peony and lilac fills the room nearly instantly. The lilac flowers have started to fade from their early, deep purple color (before they opened) to a lovely white.
