The plants arrived from Bluestone Perennials! Hooray!
Lucy inspected the box before giving her approval.
She then waited patiently, guarding the new arrivals.
I had never ordered plants like this before, but Mr. H is an old pro, having used the company in the past when landscaping his old house. The plants arrived safely, nestled between their cardboard partitions. We unloaded them all, put them in plastic planters, and gave everyone a good watering.
We will wait a few days before putting them in the ground, as the instructions say to treat them gently before planting. (We have to prepare the front bed anyway.)
