The weather on Sunday, our scheduled gardening day, was completely crummy. Cold and rainy. We spent the day indoors drinking tea and working on indoor projects.
A break in the weather on Monday gave us the change to outline the front beds more solidly than with just flags.
We placed the plants where we think they will go, measuring so each will have enough room.
Mr. H. dug a trench to indicate a hard line for the edge of the bed.

We then used the flags to indicate where we will position the plants when it's time for planting.
We just need the stupid weather to cooperate for more than 3 hours at a time.
